Learn how to prepare your fresh pasta
Flat Pasta
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil
- Season water with salt – generous pinch
- Gently drop pasta in small portions and stir
- Boil for 90 seconds or less for al dente
- Watch pot closely as fresh pasta cooks quickly
- Drain pasta
- Place a ladle full of sauce in pot
- Add cooked pasta to pot and stir gently to coat
- Serve pasta in bowls and place additional sauce to taste
- Add grated parmesan to taste and Enjoy!
Ravioli
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil
- Season water with salt – generous pinch
- Gently drop ravioli quickly in water and stir
- Boil for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes
- Wait for ravioli to rise to surface
- Remove with slotted spoon or “spider”
- Do not drain in colander as this might break the pasta
- Serve pasta in bowls, add sauce to taste
- Add grated parmesan to taste and Enjoy!
